Ace Golf has hired Nelson de Sierra as Course Superintendent at Plantation Palms.

Nelson de SierraNelson brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of golf course maintenance with him. Nelson has previously held superintendent positions with Innisbrook Resorts, The Villages, and was most recently superintendent at Bay Point Resort, a 36-hole property located in Panama City Beach, Florida. Bay Point is home to the only Jack Nicklaus Course in the Florida panhandle.

As Nelson himself shares:

I believe producing excellent golf course conditions requires a Golf Course Superintendent with the experience and ability to provide golfers the best playing conditions possible, regardless of economic constraints. My ability to stay within budget or meet budget constraints, think critically, adapt to daily challenges and an eye for detail are what set me apart from other Superintendents.
I have more than 10 years experience working in the golf and turfgrass management industry, eight of those years I held the position of Golf Course Superintendent.

He adds:

I am very passionate about golf course maintenance, and love what I do. I take extreme pride in providing the best course conditions possible. I am a very hard working individual, and believe that with my knowledge, experience, and dedication, I would be a great asset to your company. I would like the opportunity to take your facility to the next level.

We look forward to Nelson bringing Plantation Palms back to its former high quality and beyond.
